Medicare supplement (Medigap) insurance policies are available to eligible candidates to expand coverage beyond Parts A and B. Many of these policies cover your share of the costs (copays, deductibles, and coinsurance) of Medicare-covered medical services. Some Medigap policies also cover routine eye exams, contact lenses, and eyeglasses.
Medigap policies are intended only to supplement Medicare Parts A and B. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C), insurance companies cannot sell you a Medicare supplement policy.
For many people, Medicare can be a confusing subject. Contact an agent at Capitol Insurance Services for professional assistance finding the right individual vision insurance with Medicare.
